David’s varied litigation practice includes complex commercial disputes, civil fraud, cybersecurity and privacy litigation, professional liability matters, and class actions.
David represents clients at all levels of court in Ontario, and various regulatory and arbitral tribunals. He writes regularly on a range of topics including cybersecurity preparedness, class actions, and fraud.
David has extensive experience drafting complex pleadings, motion materials, and facta. Prior to joining the firm, David was an associate in the litigation group at a national firm in Toronto.
David is a member of the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations, as well as the Toronto Advocates’ Society and the Toronto Lawyers Association.

David graduated with an Honours B.A. in Philosophy from Western University, and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Law. While at law school, David participated in mooting competitions and was actively involved assisting clients at the Student Legal Services clinic at the Faculty of Law.
