AMAKA EKENKWO, Articling Student

Amaka Ekenkwo is an Articling Student at Milosevic & Associates. She brings a disciplined and detail-oriented approach to her work.

Amaka earned her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Southampton, a member of the Russell Group, graduating with high honours in the Juris Doctor stream. During her time there, she founded the Black Law Students Network and served as its President. She was also a top five finalist in the Womble Bond Dickinson Research Challenge, served as a Law School Mentor, volunteered with the Southampton Global Legal Clinic, and participated in moot competitions as both counsel and judge.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology from York University, where she received multiple awards recognizing academic excellence, leadership, and research contributions. Her broader community experience includes work on public and non-profit initiatives at the Art Gallery of Ontario and in the office of an elected member of the Toronto City Council.

Amaka has a keen interest in litigation strategy and is committed to cultivating the judgment and skills of a thoughtful litigator.

In her free time, Amaka enjoys playing guitar, hiking, and writing poetry.
