On behalf of a Plaintiff in a slander action, our office is successful in obtaining a Court Order to compel discoveries despite the defendant having brought an anti-SLAPP motion under the Protection of Public Participation Act, 2015, which would normally halt the discovery process. The Court held that the defendant could still be examined on discovery.
